Our Core Beliefs

While we maintain other Christian beliefs and precepts, we believe the following principles are foundational beliefs within true Christianity and are the starting point from which all Christian believers must begin. You must hold these concepts as truths and make them your first priority in approaching the spiritual part of your life, and in growing and caring for your relationship with God. You cannot effectively apply the information found on this website if you don't honor these beliefs. They are simple and easy to understand, and they should be compatible with the doctrines of most Christian denominations and systems of belief. These beliefs or principles fall into three very basic categories:
Jesus Christ
We believe that Jesus Christ came to this earth as God in the flesh, with the primary purpose of ransoming us from the bondage of sin and spiritual death, by destroying the works of the devil. As a result, this redemption through Him is the main, foundational teaching of his gospel, and is central to all other Christian teachings and beliefs. John 1:1-2, John 1:14, Matthew 20:28, 1 John 3:8

Followers of Jesus

We believe as followers of Christ, we must have a solid understanding of why we need a Savior. We must understand what sin is, and the affect it has on our lives, and how the power of Christ's sacrifice can deliver us from it. We must also understand the process of repentance that avails us of the cleansing authority of that atonement, which can reconcile and reunite us with God the Father and his plan for our lives. Ephesians 2:1-10, Romans 6:23, 1 John 1:9, Romans 5:10

Satan

Just as we have a belief in the true and living God, we must equally believe in the existence of Satan, the author of all sin and death, and we must always remain vigilant concerning his influence in our lives. Without a belief in Satan, we cannot fully understand the need for a savior, let alone appreciate that need. Without this belief, there is no vigilance and without vigilance, we are inevitably led away blindly into spiritual captivity and servitude. 1 Peter 5:8-9, 2 Corinthians 2:11, John 10:10, 2 Timothy 2:25-26
